What kind of choice makes you truly happy?
Increasing your personal pleasure merely by indulgences like shopping, drinking champagne, having sex, going to a movie or a concert, and so on will bring only a temporary kind of happiness that will last a few hours or at most a day or two. Instant gratification is followed by rapid fall-off.
But, another kind of choice you can make to increase happiness is one that promotes creative expression or the happiness of another person. In both cases, a deeper level of the self is being accessed.
